The Bazaar: the neutral market where credits buy weapons
The Bazaar, written "The Bazzar" in the game and listed as [Neutral-82], is an abandoned mall that all factions treat as neutral ground. Seven traders work there, most of them for credits. This guide covers how to get in, who trades what, and how prices work. Open the Bazaar map.
The short version
- Two mails give you the coordinates. "Invitation from Support Department" arrives after you finish the mission Comunicación Regional de Corto Alcance: Especialidad Local. "Troops Rally" is the reward for the mission Supplement Clue.
- It is a safe map. It has no run timer, and travelling there never asks you to insure gear.
- Six traders sell for credits, one for Biomass. Their stock includes rifles, pistols, ammunition, armour plates, medicine and food.
- Huang Batian starts with 10,000,000 credits to buy your items. The other credit traders start with none, except the Recovery Team Leader, who starts with 100,000 credits.
- Weapon mystery boxes cost 10,000 to 30,000 credits. Each one opens into a random weapon, sometimes a stabilized Corrupted one.
Getting in
You need the map's coordinates before the Map Portal lists it. Either of these missions gives them:
| Mission | How you get it |
|---|---|
| Invitation from Support Department. | A mail that arrives once you have completed Comunicación Regional de Corto Alcance: Especialidad Local. |
| Troops Rally | The reward of Supplement Clue. It also gives you the mission The Openning, which pays 30,000 credits and has marked points in the Bazaar and in the Origin-00 1951 map. |
The traders
Every price is the item's normal buy price multiplied by a random factor, which is why the swing column differs. Stock is rolled from the stock list; open it to see every item and its chance.
| Trader | Pays and charges | Price swing | Starts with | Typical stock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Uncle Viktor Stock list | Credits | ±10% | 0 credits | RS guns, 7.62mm, 12ga and .45 ammo, RS chest rigs, helmets and uniforms, impact armour plates, Frag Grenades, medical supplies, cigarettes and canned food. |
| Quartermaster Stock list | Credits | ±15% | 0 credits | SVG and WLF guns, 5.56mm and 9mm ammo, Rifle Bags, puncture armour plates, Sterile Bandages, Tranquilizer Pills, energy bars, drinks and canned food. |
| Master Xie Stock list | Credits | ±20% | 0 credits | A C79 submachine gun, 9mm ammo, general armour plates, the Ba Gua Mirror, Jin Chuang Yao, Hui Yang Dan, Jiang Shen Xiang, cigarettes, Mineral Water and Canned Tea Leaves. |
| The Pilot Stock list | Credits | ±10% | 0 credits | EO9, Periro D44 and Wolff P1911 handguns, 5.45mm ammo, a Split-Ring Keychain, slash armour plates, Biotoxin Antidote Pills and Syrettes. |
| Huang Batian Stock list | Credits | ±10% | 10,000,000 credits | "Bear Cub" Chocolate, "Milio's" Milk and Grilled Hot Dog. He starts with credits to pay you for items. |
| "King" Crumb Stock list | Biomass | ±10% | 100,000 Biomass | Scrap guns, Foam Darts, wood planks, metal plates, Cauterizing Powder, potatoes and cooked skewers and eggs. |
| Recovery Team Leader Stock list | Credits | None | 100,000 credits | Weapon mystery boxes, below. |
Credit traders pay an item's full sell price in credits, rounded down, but only up to what they have. "King" Crumb works like the wilderness merchants: he pays Biomass, one Biomass for every 100 of the item's sell price.
Weapon mystery boxes
The Recovery Team Leader sells these at fixed prices. Opening one gives one random weapon of its kind, and the game says there is a chance of a stabilized Corrupted weapon or parts. See Corrupted weapons and gear.
