Information collected

We do not ask visitors to create an account or submit personal information to use the guide. If you submit a correction report, we collect the report, page, selected area, and nearby or highlighted text where available so that we can review it. If you send a message through the contact form, we collect your name, email address and message so that we can reply. Google Analytics and Google AdSense may process information about a visit, such as pages viewed, interactions, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, cookie identifiers, and advertising identifiers where applicable.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate use of the guide, such as which pages are useful and how visitors navigate the site. Google Analytics is delivered through Google Tag Manager. Analytics storage remains denied until the consent flow applies a choice where consent is required.

Advertising and Google AdSense

When advertising is enabled, this site uses Google AdSense to display ads. Cookies and consent

Google’s Privacy & Messaging consent-management platform presents consent and privacy choices where required. It controls the consent choices for analytics and advertising technologies used through Google Tag Manager. We do not operate a separate site consent banner.

Third parties

Google Tag Manager loads the Google technologies described above. If Google AdSense serves ads through additional third-party vendors or ad networks, their technologies and privacy information are presented through the applicable Google consent flow and ad controls. We do not sell personal information.

When correction reporting or the contact form is enabled, reports and messages are delivered server-to-server to Formspree, which stores them and sends notification emails for the service.
