About No Such Place Guide
No Such Place Guide is a free player reference for No Such Place. It helps you decide what to bring, what to craft, where to find things, and what to watch out for before you head into a map.
Who runs it
The guide is written and maintained by a player of the game. It is an independent fan project.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the game’s developer or publisher. The game’s developer is aware of the site and has agreed to links to it being shared in the game’s official Discord channel. See the terms and disclaimer for who owns the game’s names, text and artwork.
What you can find here
- 24 player guides: written explanations of systems the game does not spell out, such as the Safe House, crafting, merchants, temperature, combat effects and death timers.
- Items: what each item does, where it can be found, which merchants sell it, what it is used for and what it can be crafted into.
- Blueprints and furniture: what each recipe needs and what it unlocks.
- Missions: objectives, requirements and rewards.
- Enemies: what they drop and how they behave.
- Locations and interactive maps, with the places loot can appear.
- Gear planner: compare loadouts before a run.
- FAQ: short answers to easily missed mechanics.
Where the information comes from
- Item, mission, enemy, recipe and map details come from the game’s own files, so they match what the game uses.
- How a mechanic behaves is checked against the game’s own logic before a guide states it. A mechanic that has not been checked is left out.
- Names and descriptions use the game’s own text, and the game’s English name always wins.
- When the game has no English name, the guide supplies one so you never see untranslated text. A blueprint or research project is named after what it makes or unlocks, a firing-mode variant of a weapon is named after its base weapon, and a few enemies and merchants get a plain English translation. The guide switches to the game’s name as soon as an update provides one.
- Records that cannot be named, such as test entries and content the game has not yet made available, are left out. A description with no English version is left out rather than shown in another language.
- Other languages show a page only where the game provides that language’s name and description. English is the complete edition.
Keeping it accurate
The game changes between releases, so a detail may be out of date until the guide is updated. If something looks wrong, use Report a correction at the bottom of any page to point at the exact text. Reports are reviewed and the page is corrected where the report is right. See Contact for other ways to reach us.
How the site is funded
The guide is free to use. Advertising may be shown on some pages to cover running costs. Ads never change what the guide says. The privacy policy explains how advertising and analytics work and how to change your choices.
